- Apr 2024: Filing date PERM

However, I got a promo in Oct 2024 and my employer subsequently re-filed under category EB-1C (International Manager)
- Feb 2025: I-140 approved
- Jul 2025: I-485 receipt date
- Oct 2025: EAD issued

- (Jul 2025: PERM approved from EB-2)

Wondering whether the previous application under EB-2 is messing with my AOS under EB-1C? Is it taking so much time to get I-485 under EB-1C?

Any tax accountants/attorneys in here? What would happen to the 401k of a foreign worker if they cannot longer maintain an immigration status and have to go back home? What about a ROTH 401k?
