Senior I here, I guess Senior II in October. EY will start the GC process soon. I am worried they file it for a Senior Position, and not for a Manager position. If the process took, let's say 2-3 years, I think it's reasonable to ask them to file directly as a Manager. Have you faced this situation before? How should I express my concerns? Should I talk to the lawyers, partners, HR, EM...? Any advice or experiences?

In talks with A&M to come over to their TAG practice from EY FDD as senior associate. Base salary is very competitive on top of the alluring "bonus" structure. 2 questions:

1. Do they normally offer sign on bonuses?
2. Is their any disadvantage between A&M FDD compared to B4 FDD in terms of exit ops down the road? Trying to look 5 years down the line

My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. It’s lower than my current salary and significantly lower than what I’d make by taking the first offer. Do I take the high salary and stay in claims or go for UW in hopes it will be best in long run?

I can’t get out. I’m a barred attorney looking to move into a JD preferred role. I don’t like being at a firm. I’ve applied to hundreds (literally) of contract, compliance, regulatory, etc. sort of jobs. I’m not looking for a crazy salary either. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. How do I make the switch? Does anyone else just not even want to be a people manager anymore?! The amount of work this is taking, I’m just so over it. In addition to them piling on my work (which is a full time job) the people management stuff is just as much a full time job that no one in management seems to take into account. Please help! I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) I’ve applied to PM roles at many biotech companies (e.g. Charles River, ICON, Paraxel) but only got 1 interview which didn’t work out. Which companies should I look to for an entry level PM role? Can anyone explain the difference between PWC SDC, PWC AC and PWC India?

I am trying to get into PWC. here are a few things I have heard so far. Is this fairly accurate?

1. PwC AC is offshore counterpart of PwC US. Good salary. No travel opportunities. Average yearly hike ~10% Mostly technical work.
2 PwC India is a pure consulting firm. Salary better than PwC AC. client facing work. Can grow as a management consultant. Great Travel opportunities.
