Hi Fishes, I have received an offer from Barclays for AVP position. But the role discussed during interview was for Tech Delivery Manager whereas the offer letter mentions it as Tech Delivery Lead. Can you guys please suggest if it is the same role or should I request recruiter to get the role updated? Moreover it would be great if any of you can shed some light on the prospects/challenges of this role based on your experiences. Barclays Barclays global service center

dead for local firms, booming for american ones
Do you know if it’s booming across all practice areas or just certain ones? Am in investment funds and have heard that it’s pretty quiet and pretty much no hiring happening at US firms atm
I’m in the funds space. Not dead, in fact it seems to be at the busiest in the recent couple of years. But firms may be resistant to hiring due to the economic uncertainty
why would you consider it dead?
Just what I’ve heard from the grapevine so just looking to confirm if true. Am working in the investment funds space so maybe it’s just dead for that practice right now…
