I don’t live in your building but I give my doormen around $100 ea- $100 for the ones I know well and help me the most, $50 for the ones I interact with less.
Will echo above, I tip $100 per doorman and $50 per maintenance man.
I used to live in a luxury building (but kinda a pseudo one) and to be honest none of the doormen were ever helpful to me, none ever said hello, and they came across as cold and unbothered so I felt no obligation to tip
So I guess depends on your experience, give more to those who have helped you the most
Thanks-there’s 4 doormen that I like, always helpful, say hello, etc and I was planning on giving each of them $100.
But then there’s a few that never talk or even look at me and sometimes are just rude lol and I’m like well...I don’t feel like giving them each $100, so I thought of stuffing $100 in an envelope and addressing it to that group. I dunno if they pool all the money and then divide it up at the end or what.
We just moved out of our doorman building and are still giving an early bonus. Giving $100 to the three we love and are super helpful to us and $50 to the 3 that are not great/unhelpful.
I still give the night doorman $100 even though we rarely see him. Not his fault we’re not out late :)
$50-$100 each is standard
Also consider giving more than normal this year given COVID. We gave our key doormen $50 each in June to thank them for being essential workers
