My base loc is Bengaluru, but currently I am not mandatorily required to work from office, and have been working from home since I joined Deloitte in July. Should I talk to my manager and go back to my hometown Kolkata and work from there? Staying in PG all day and working from here is not quite feasible for me. Suggest pls. Deloitte India

You like the cane or the whip.
Absolutely United unless you want to connect twice a week (unless you’re only traveling to LAX, PHX, DFW, NYC, PHL, MIA or ORD)
Dog killer airline
AA if you want upgrades. Also if you want layovers in PHX
Is SFO your home base or client? How long will you be in SF if it's a client location?
I did ORD -> SFO direct for about 6 months on AA and was upgraded to first almost every week.
Definitely depends on where you're flying and if you have any client restrictions. My flights are fine but not going to NY/ORD as some have mentioned.
How are your self defense skills? Krav maga might be a good training routine for flying United.
If you’re willing to do connections out of SFO by going the AA route, then I would pledge loyalty to Delta out of SFO
Bit the bullet and flew United SFO->ORD this week. Gotta kiss the ring at some point.
Depends where you want to fly. United considers LAX/SFO - EWR/BOS a premium flight and you wouldn’t be eligible for free upgrades

I’m based out of SF - tried AA for about a year. But those connecting flights take a toll. Switched to United this year - don’t see a whole lot difference in the level of service so far.
Super helpful all! SFO is my client and my home base will be either NYC or SFO going forward. Would love to use pts going forward towards J travel to Asia
Given most folks here seem to default to United. Would being loyal to AA at least slightly increase my chances of an upgrade on similar routes over flying United?
The flatbed eligibility to NYC is certainly huge and didn't know only United restricted those.
United and get the chase reserve and combine those points
