Should I take the GMAT now? Just graduated college and start working full-time in late September. I’m not really doing anything and I’m fresh out of school so I think it would be a good time to take it. But also scores only last 5 years and thats below the average YOE at a lot of the top programs so is it even worth it?

Do I even have enough time to study for a late Aug/early Sept test date? (I could probably hit over 10hrs of studying per week)

Need help guys: LLM in International Taxation: NYU ($65,000) or UF ($22,000)? Is it worth the extra 43K for a NYU degree? If you’re recruiting someone, does it matter to you whether they went to UF or NYU?

Posted about this a while back but didn’t get a definitive response. I have a bunch of Manhattan prep GMAT books from the past few years that have little to no writing in them. There’s probably 20 of them so pretty heavy but I’m looking to give this away to someone for free. Only thing is I asked for you to take all of them versus just a few. Do people working in IB, PE, Consulting, etc. get any financial aid when applying for top MBA programs (M7 or T15)?

Is it a good move to left your current well settled job to go for education alomost after 7 years of gap from last qualification just for the sake of moving to Canada. will it really payoff the time and investment ?

Enrolled in Stern for a few weeks.
The number of the alumni and current students that go to top consulting firms FT& summer intern are countless even for a small class size.
Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)

Can you get MBA tuition reimbursement if you’re a Digital Strategy Analyst? Or, do you need to be baptized as a pure Strategy Analyst?

I have a month left till my GMAT. Should I start solving the official questions timed or solve more untimed until I feel more comfortable? Asking because TTP is religiously advising on untimed strategy, but I’m currently struggling with timing especially CR; untimed sessions often make me take 3-4 minutes per question (80-90% accuracy). Graduating with PhD in comp neuro next year. I just did a week long internship at MBB to check out consulting, which I loved but ultimately will not be accepting my offer for life considerations (my wife also works at MBB and we have young children). It was amazing getting a sense of what the work actually comprises.

Are there any similar day-long or week-long internship programs for data science? Would love to test it out for a little bit to see what I like/dislike.

I'm graduating with a Master's in Biomedical Engineering with a decent amount of research in academia (and no "professional experience" outside of research facilities), but I don't want to pursue down the line to get a PhD. I have been juggling the options of R&D in the industry (MedTech, Biotech, Pharma) or Consulting (Life Sciences) for which I don't really have a background. What are my other options?
