Hang it up, champ.
I have an arrest for DV and I tell the men I date pretty early on 😅 but I never thought to ask since I myself am guilty
Other side like LA? We love crazy 😉
Ok it’s interesting. I’m surprised to see the question because I’d imagine most men with criminal domestic violence issues would be convinced they were wronged and …not introspective
Also good thing to google for in the dating pool…
I don’t think most women look it up. I say that as a woman who just got out of a bad situation and didn’t realize he had priors
Whether she looks it up or not, this is definitely something that should be disclosed.
Prior victim of a DV incident with a BF here. I'm trying to think if this would be a deal breaker for me.
It definitely would be if I didn't know and found out in a way that wasn't you telling me.
The best way I can see would be to bring it up on the second or third date and be very transparent with the work that you've done to make sure it never repeats itself. If you haven't actually done any work, meaning you know it's wrong and you told yourself you wouldn't do it again, then it would be a deal breaker for me.
