Hi fishers! I have offer and signed contract with Deloitte UK and my start day is in the beginning of April. I need skilled worker visa, and we haven’t applied yet for that. Screening and onboarding is in progress. Immigration team doesn’t reply since reached me out 1st time. How much time does it usually needed to go through the whole process? How many days take for visa to be approved since application?Deloitte

Gen fill is the one thing I've seen PS do well. The other generative stuff is hit/miss depending on the day of the week it seems. Usually a miss.
And that CEO who refuses to acknowledge AI?
He'll be a fishie in about a year looking for work like the rest of us.
He’ll be servicing a very small community who appreciates Aesthetic vs Efficiency. Not sure what the overhead costs are at procreate, but I imagine layoffs will be happening if he doesn’t implement some sort of emerging tech tool to his product.
Adobe still has useless artistic filter tools from the 1980s. I wish they would actually incorporate AI to replace those. It’s annoying. The only thing we really have is generative fill.
I hear ya CD1. I respect your passion behind this. Need you on the Adobe board fr fr. No joke.
AI is good for idea generation, but it should be limited to that only. If it isn’t regulated, AI is not only going to put hundreds of millions, if not billions of people out of work worldwide, it will eventually cause global civilization to completely collapse.
I personally feel like Procreate is for traditional artists and don't think that AI is appropriate. I love that Procreate is $10, forever. You get all the updates. They're still continuously working to make their product great. I don't generally even like AI to begin with, it feels "false" like all our years of training and education in the art and design world has gone to waste. I also think a lot of the obviously AI generated things are pretty ugly, but it's pretty subjective. Not to mention Procreate functions better from an illustration standpoint than illustrator, photoshop and fresco

Generative fill in Photoshop has been a game changer for me. Anyone who doesn’t embrace new technology will be left behind.
Gen fill is handy. Just in simply removing stuff. That’s really how I mostly use it. It has issues when you actually tell it to do something specific.

Someone needs to fill the space by developing “Degenerative AI”’ to create all the fun stuff degenerate junior high-age kids want to create but AI companies won’t allow!
I’m not an illustrator or artist, so I much prefer Abobe Suite products for all my proviz and video content needs.
That being said, HAVE YALL TRIED PROCREATE DREAMS!?
