Injave 12 yoe but lack adjacent skillset like cloud, cicd stuff that pretty much every software role wants. microsoft and Amazon are still companies i want to get into in Virginia. Should I brush up technical interview methodology while at new place and then apply constantly or try to learn from new job and see where it goes? It is federal job so the salary will cap off soon and commercial has higher ceiling.. thanks.

AWS Developer -Deloitte USI - 15fixed + 0-10% Variable + 4LJB (retention bonus) 2. Sr security Analyst - AWS IAM - Sony India software centre - 17.5fixed + 3L Variable. I have 5 YOE in Analytics... always thought I wanted to be a DS, but every job (even the junior ones) required experience in ML development. Though I am part of the ML project, I'm not the person develop the model. And I have a hard time when the interviewer ask about how I develop the model and what hyperparameters I tuned. I know the thought process and stuff but 'I' wasn't the one who did that part in the project. How to convince them that I could do the job without taking credit of others.

The manager is not experienced, it’s her first r manager role and she’s been in it for 3 months.
