So, I left this company because I felt like I was being bullied and if I didn't bow down to the owner I wouldn't be assigned hours to work. I just felt stressed all the time. I'm good at my job but I don't want to be bullied by anyone.

I understand how you feel I was bullied by my manager and she did everything to get me fired but I was smarter and resigned because the company wasn’t going to do anything after I reported her to HR. I don’t like companies that don’t protect employees it’s sad

Wow, this is crazy. That was one of the providers I managed in my last job.

I get that I felt the same way I felt like I was set up to fail after almost 10 years

Me too

Your decision is totally valid! No job is worth being treated horribly and feeling miserable every day.

Good for you, you deserve to be happy for what you do. Better job to go your way😁

Moved to Canada on a work permit but recently got my PR approved. It’s been a 4 month wait to get the actual PR card and I have a family trip coming up soon. Can I still travel and get back into the country with no issues given that I still have a work visa (W1) on my passport? Not sure if my change of status nulls my current visa

Is it typical for UK companies not to cover the cost of visa sponsorship and to assume that the international applicant knows that they will have to fund the process themselves without telling them?

So I say this with complete humility and an understanding that this is a fortunate-ish situation to be in. I’m in a position where I am tied to nothing, I have no children, spouse, or house. My job, which I’ve loved until some recent significant leadership changes, is sucking the life out of me and I think it may be time for a change. Because I am able to “pick up and go” I’m open to opportunities and locations. I’ve never worked with a recruiter but was hoping I could get some recommendations!

Hi all! I recently accepted a remote/hybrid RN position to try something new. Majority of my experience is at bedside. The pay is less than bedside (as a traveler), but more than a staff nurse. Are there any RN’s that left bedside for a remote position that can give advice on the work/life balance? What pros and cons do you encounter?

I am a clinical research coordinator working in Austin, Texas. I have my Masters in Cell & Molecular Biology and have a year of laboratory research experience.

I’ve been in my position for 5 months now. I make $27 hourly which amounts to about $51,000 yearly. Am I being under paid? Are all coordinator positions hourly? As a laboratory researcher I was salary :(

How do I go about asking for a raise or should I explore other companies or medical schools that have clinical research?
