What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice? Going for my first switch, and got offer from CTS with 11.5 ctc as etl tester.
My lwd is jan 2nd.
I got trained in Selenium in java and i think my selenium concepts/understandings are good, need some brush up on testng.
So is it advicable to kick start and brushup Selenium+ TestNG concepts in 1 month and go for automation role interviews as i dont have experience in realtime automation projects. Good or bad idea?

I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. Anyone here moved from strategy to account?

Till last July I was earning 12 LPA, now I switch to a product based with 30 LPA. Where 27 is the base. Monthly I pay 45k tax.
Things that i am doing already is LIC = 40 k , SSA= 50 k (for my kid) and tution fees = 25 K .So altogether withPF other superannuation fund I can show 1.5 Lakhs in 80 C.
