Was hired as a property manager after a 45 min interview they hired me 45 mins later asked me if I could start part time that next Monday which meant I had to quit my one part time job two days later. I agreee, I went and started kind of felt awkward, was a lot of over the shoulder watching which was fine then a lot of watching them put out fires and empty promises like take her to see this and it never happened. Then I had to do a welcome letter which I did and then got it micromanaged and rewritten, watched a tenant be upset about a tenant that had allowed to cause problems and wa getting evicted. I was then thrown in a zoom meeting I didn’t understand the maintenance man came in and started talking my trainer engaged with him I still listened I was asking ? And got out the training manual she answered a phone call also, and after the phone call got a text reprimanding us about it. I was trying to listen and had no clue about any of it I had been there like maybe 3 days.
Then I was left by myself on Friday had no clue what I was doing, did my best. The next week got a text that the maintenance man called in the other quit and no one was there needed to do a vacancy check so I left my other part time job early and went there. All week I continued that and also ended up attending court proceedings for the eviction. Which most people work there for years and never do. That Friday I again was still part time I had to be by myself and had to do the vacancy check again deal with the tenant and then get Venmo’d money from the manager to go get sheriff fees paid to have the writ served and the tenant evicted by myself. Then Monday was my first full time day and I had meet and great with tenants so I went to the one office and had lease signing at the other and no arrangements were made ever and I got in trouble for not going to the correct location. Them from there complete ss. Had a zoom meeting during lease signings that I have no clue about that I need to learn the trainer had to go get keys made, and I got left with a lease signing so I missed the zoom meeting start I didn’t get to my lunch punch out on time so I punched out and got a call to log on and when I tried the computer was not updated and had to do all that updating and so meeting was almost over. Then I got scolded for that…… next day myself again. Doing things my best of my ability and got called to office and fired. Not a good fit untrainable
