Looking for a husband 🤣
Are any New Yorkers into hiking?
I got Senior Analyst role at Roche,Chennai and Analyst role at Novartis. Roche is offering 1 Lakh more than Novartis.
Which one do I choose?
One advantage with Novartis is it is in my hometown. I'm thinking of joining Roche for now and then apply Novartis may be 2-3 years later for Asst. Manager role.
Also how is it like working in Roche? ( Growth, WLB)
Thanks in advance!

*crickets* blockchain is only useful where you don't want a centralized party to control the data. Use cases are few and far between. Anything else could have a highly scalable database
... and isn't replication across nodes a defining characteristic of distributed ledger? Still not sure what benefit distributed ledger has over 'traditional' db...
Why use a blockchain for this? Couldn't you pay for a service that serves this data on your behalf?
The elephant in the room that in almost all cases, blockchain is inefficient and not fast enough to compete with centralized solutions
Unfortunately, it's a fundamental element of the design. It will get faster, but never be as fast as centralized. Think smartphones vs a desktop. Even then, the more decentralized it is, the slower it will be, which is part of the reason Facebook opted for a more centralized model using LibraBFT. I have yet to see (legal) applications which require decentralization of any kind
