Something I’ve been stuck on lately is goal setting at work and whether I should be adding goals on top of what my manager already sets or slowing down and focusing, especially when the workload never really gets lighter and my to do list somehow grows overnight on its own, so how do you approach this?

That is your challenge, but let me ask you this – are you going to be a better employee on paper if you only concentrate on what the work goals are? Was there additional education that you wanted to get whether that’s a degree or certifications?
What do you look like to a perspective new employer?

Agree. It’s worth having a few individual goals that you add to the team’s goals.

Our company is considering offering 401K employer match. We are about 200 employees venture backed company. We have about 60% participation mostly the non HCEs and only some key employees contribute. We always pass top heavy test and wpassed the 2019 ADP/ACP test. We are aggressively hiring and project there will be increase in participation, particularly if we offer the match. Given this information would it make sense to continue with a traditional 401k plan or go with safe Harbor plan?

Hello everyone ,
I’m currently working in insurance customer service at an agency. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge.
