Spending a few days in Palm Beach, Florida and looking for good golf. Willing to spend money for good golf, but also happy to play fun courses without dropping hundreds per round. Any recommendations? Open to hearing about good private courses that are doable if you have connections too. Especially wondering if any of the PGA National courses are worth it. What about the Breakers? Palm Beach Par 3? Scratch handicap if it matters.

Taking some golf lessons, got a women’s starter set I got to make sure I liked golf first. Instructor mentioned that the driver is like swinging a wet noodle for me lol and I should look into a men’s or one with stiffer flex. I have no idea what to look for. Are the people at Dicks Sporting Goods knowledgeable or worth driving the 40 min to PGA store?
