I was wondering if anyone has gone through this process. I recently did the interviews which were system design, mobile ide, programming, and behavioral. I did well on the system design, i think i aced the programming one but i believe i bombed the mobile ide interview (task was writing a simple app in an hour and i barely got halfway theough).
Would this mean i would definitely not get the offer? I have to wait till next week for feedback and im goin crazy!

Joined in Oct for SAP functional. Now one manager who interviewed me reached out that there is a training material developer project which will start on 20 nov for Oracle timeline is 2 months only and SAP projects are in pipeline there was one coming but no guarantee if its final and if it has to come it will be in this month because in dec new projects do not onboard. I have worked on oracle in the past but now am fully into SAP. Should I take this project or wait until Jan for SAP project?

But not getting any desired role or company . Makes me feel disheartened,feels like will have to wait a very long to get something desired.

What have people found to be a typical timeline to hear back about next steps for a job you applied for online?

For various reasons, I can't really change jobs for about 2 more years, but I really want to change and I'm so eager that I'm already preparing and studying and watching job descriptions come and go lol.

Do you think there are any jobs that would wait for me such that I could apply / interview for them starting now / soon and the hiring process time + waiting-for-me time = 2 years? Just getting so antsy sitting on my hands here 😭

Those of you that interviewed at aws sales, did your interviewers go through specific bullet points on your resume?
I understand its lp focused, im just curious if ppl used examples outside of their resume for majority of their stories.

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

Does anyone have tips for the structured interview process? I’ve done my research but am not getting past the first round. My credentials must be acceptable if I’m being invited to interview at all. Since post-interview feedback isn’t provided, I’m sort of grasping at straws here!

Anybody hiring for data analytics positions? I just need a first round interview. I am a decent candidate, my last 5 interviews were EY, McK, EY, McK and GS (last round, 1st round, last round, 2nd round, 1st round). I have 10 months of experience and graduated with majors in cs and bus. I interned once at a big 4 acc firm and once as a software engineer.
1 caveat: I am an F1 student on OPT.

1st yr at a nyc v50 firm doing general transactional work. I know the lateral market for transactional lawyers is hot but not as hot for juniors. I just want a change of scenery because my current firm is bleeding good associates / not giving great training imo / and just seems small. Would lateralling this early feasible? Need some advice. Would you take a contract role for a big tech company? Went through a full cycle of interviews but another candidate was selected for the role. The senior manager then emailed me directly asking if I was interested in a contract position. Not sure what to do….

Did a first interview with hr rep, went very well. she set up the hiring manager meeting for a few days later. Met with the manager. Another great conversation, went over time and was told I’d hear back about panel set up. Following day I get a request from hr rep to “continue the conversation” with manager. This is set up Tuesday.
Why do you think the manager wants to meet again? Good? Bad? I felt great about the interview when we ended.

What do I do if I’ve only worked one job (the one I’m currently at) and another company is asking for references? I could do professors from college but not sure if that’s a good idea. I wish I could give my current manager’s contact but I don’t want her knowing :/

As I browse available positions in my area, I’m realizing there is a LOT of crossover between my current org and others, for example shared board members, folks who are on our board and employed at one of the institutions I’m interested in, etc..
