Sr. PM role. Pays $100k to $120k but requires 8+ years of PM experience. This is quite underpaid. I have been in the Toronto market for a long time and this range was being quoted for Sr. PMs during the 2016 to 2018 period.

Unfortunately, they will find worthy applicants ....so many underemployed talented IT immigrants out there

This is my first post in Fishbowl, I'm looking for some genuine guidance on below query.

I have a total of 8.1 yrs of development experience in Java, Bigdata and Hadoop (new to it).
I got an offer from Capgemini for Manager/C2 designation with a CTC of 24 LPA. I just wanted to know the roles and responsibilities at this designation.
Will it be a profile shift from technical to managerial position or is just a designation (as per HR) the actual job would be to lead/guide any team?

I was informed today that my employment would be terminated at a tier-2 consulting firm in Toronto. The reasons for my dismissal are unclear and I would like to get legal advice on the termination agreement and severance package that was offered.
