Anyone had luck of recent?
Hi ,I have been interviewed and selected in S&P Global .salary almost negotiated and waiting for the offer letter to release. But seems like they are not willing to release the offer because of my 90 np . They are asking to join by 60 days but initially I told them my NP is 90. Even I am ready to take the 60 days offer but now they are not releasing offer as they want assurance. Now they are not picking calls.seems like i will loose the offer. Is there anything can be done.

You’re a newly promoted senior making 52k?
Lol maybe you weren’t clear? Staff 3 (just started) =|= new senior
No, you can do a lot better when you make senior. You also just started right? Acquire a few years of experience first. Why are you in a rush to get out? The short term salary bump will pale in comparison to the larger gain you can get as a senior. Look at the long game and don't be short sighted.
Maybe I wasnt clear. I am a newly promoted senior
How is staff 3 = newly promoted senior?
What firm goes from staff to manager? 🤔
12k is prolly 600ish a month take home. How much more work is it? How many More hours?
Less hours. 40/week
More money, less hours. What's the advancement look like? Career ops?
The area is booming, and its for a large real estate developer. May be able to be promoted with 1-2 years for decent bump, but will be more standard 2% raises after that likely.
Midwest
Nooooo don’t do it. Stick it out and gain some experience. The bump looks nice but you can do so much better even just a year from now. And financial reporting? Ugh
In charge/ senior. Not a formal promotion process at my firm, but I in charge all jobs since ~3 months ago. In charge is still a staff
...so when are you actually promoted to the next level at your firm?
Not til manager. 5 years
Staff 3..? And 52k only? We started as staff 1s with 59k
I’m a Senior 1 so technically staff 3 (per your firm’s math) and I make 63k. Not worth it to go into industry. Stick it out in PA and finds better firm.

Hi OP, what was your starting salary three years ago? If possible, move to a bigger firm because you should have been making 60+ at any decent size firm by now. Also, if you move to a bigger firm the will offer you more than 64K for sure. You stay at a good firm for few years and then go to industry with a potential of 6 figure salary.
We go staff -> in charge -> manager. Many big regional firms fillow this route
