2: How is the hike and work life balance.
3: Attrition rate
4: Hike is good but will it be a safer vet like Accenture Operations?
Need some views from people working there.
Thanks in advance.

I wouldn’t take it. WLB in B4 sucks, but the opportunities available with 2-3 YOE and beyond will dunk all over the offer you have now. I’d just get one promotion and then leave if you really don’t like it, but I also think you owe it to yourself to try pressing through. You worked hard to get into EY in the first place, so why not make the most of what it has to offer?
Stay for 2 years and get promoted. The opportunities will increase tremendously. I went through something similar and am now about to jump for around 140k all-in. Patience!
EY has completely ruined my personal life and I have had TERRIBLE experiences on projects (abusive SM, substance abuse issues with colleagues, etc)... do you all really think it gets better?
In the same boat - have had terrible experiences on my projects with leadership and WLB. Also want to jump, but want to be strategic about it.
Cont. What would you do?
Afraid of trajectory loss/pigeon-hole into tech role and a reduced opportunity for improved business acumen.
I’m in roughly the same spot. Looking to negotiate a bigger signing bonus to pay off my existing one. I’m hopping B4 to B4 so not exactly the same.
Does better work life balance = less travel? Because if it does why not try to pick a city and industry that align so that you’re on the road less frequently.
Don't do it. Pm me with questions! :)
I would stay out and not panic. Depending on how long this coronavirus lasts, there’s a chance there will be massive cuts in consulting since clients’ balance sheets are being wrecked right now. As a new person you’re safe, that should matter to you these days.
