Started job as foreign worker. I did my research before making the big move however after joining realize that company went through full management change, is still in process of resetting and now am sitting there 9-5 with nothing to do. The boss are supportive and helpful but I want to leave and I cannot because they have a huge claw back on my contract (which they still haven't have me sign) to (in boss's words) deter me from leaving.​ What to do? Skills rusting up and wasting.

Recently switched from audit to advisory. Not loving it, want to disconnect and switch careers/take a role outside of accounting. Thinking about putting two weeks in before the break without anything lined up. Thoughts?

I’m looking to transition from an academic medical center to pharma or a biotech. I have about 8 years of clinical research experience overall — 7 years combined as a CRC (CRC I, CRC II, and senior CRC) and 1 year as a PM. I’m also recently ACRP-CP certified.
