Well what’s your issue specifically? Is it the devil in the details? Functions? Macros? Taking a good look here can be fixed over practices.
As for courses perhaps udemy and I started following a page on ig, called excel dictionary. Nice lil page lol
There’s YouTube videos that can also help with leveling up excel skills but ultimately it’s a skill that requires practice to get good at the analytics portion of it (as that will require an overlap of analysis and excel skills)
Think you should look into learning PowerQuery. But in terms of learning, Start with looking up a simple excel project. Practice makes perfect
Actually, once you’ve mastered the material in Excel for dummies and the Excel Bible then things will get easier and easier.
Just finished FreeCodeCamps: Excel for Data Analytics YT. ~3hrs long, first 1.5hrs was all I needed. Having exposure to projects helps to know what to focus on specifically. So, you may want to ask for excel-related tasks - that aren’t time crucial - to do in your free time (a few hrs over the weekend). PowerQuery is super helpful so include this in your learning/workflow. Ask your company if they provide resources (LinkedIn Learnings, etc). Be patient w/ yourself, it’s just a matter of time
Take advantage of LinkedIn learning courses if your company offers, they probably do.
I teach Excel courses, one-on-one or group settings, at a low cost. I customize the course to your specific needs. It takes 6 courses to take you from novice to proficient. Let me know if you need help.
Make friends with an entry level person that knows how to do it
Work late if you have to. Use ms forums to ask your question. It’ll take a few months but you’ll get there :).
Start learning some basic functions which you can find online, and the best advice honestly can be to start building your own sheets for some different uses (for instance, a complex sheet for fantasy football or a private file for your chargeability), in this way you can learn how to use the functions in different scenarios, to adapt the skill that you find online instead of just taking notes and similar :)
