Hi Londoners ,
Moving in from outside UK.
Looking out for some areas in west / NW London where one can live with an infant on max 1400£ rental while requiring one partner to travel to Central occasionally for work and the other person 3 days a week to LHR.
Some Qns:
1) Will 1 Bedroom be too cramped for the infant to grow up? Should I raise budget?
2) I prefer being in family /childcare friendly areas. Had Harrow, Acton in mind . Are they good for my budget or any other suggestions?
TIA Deloitte @

They pit every generation against each other so they don’t unite against this.
I think every generation has ragged on its successor generation to some degree. In a way I’d imagine it’s probably kind of a natural way for the older generation to push back against a sense of fading relevancy and ultimately, mortality.
I think the big difference these days, and why it feels more pronounced and caustic than ever, like a lot of contemporary discourse, is the amplifying effect of the internet and social media.
Now pipe down and get off my lawn.

“How about that generation below us. Aren’t they just AMAZING???” Said no one in the history of civilization.
I’m Gen X and I truly and genuinely love gen z attitudes.

I’m a Millennial. I didn’t mean it because your generation is dumb. I meant the information propagating and being accepted.
