Any action item to be done before my lwd apart from returning id badge and laptop ? IBM

Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

3 Step Process for Success as a Year 1:
1) Work harder so you don't get fired in the first place,
2) Having a positive outlook in consulting, when paired with stamina, is everything, and;
3) Don't be vindictive. Act with maturity.
I am gonna do the same honestly. I regret taking PwC over another offer and was laid off for no fault of mine
I am sorry that you had a negative experience.
I've got 850 unemployed friends from the Deloitte S&O practice who would disagree.
Or perhaps my friends at ACCN who are telling me they actually formally ratified the "up or out" policy this year.
Point is, our firms all took a hit. Id be interested to hear where you see a safe harbor for your friends (other than KPMG)
My 80 batch mates who chose any other firm are safe. 50% who chose Pwc were let go with a lot of disgrace.
.... and remember that doing a Keg Stand is not a great approach to that first team outing
Were you let go?
Shit, again?!
you really think layoffs will still be happening in summer/fall 2018? (since graduation would be 2017, and a year from that...)
D1 is full of it. Don't be such an arrogant ass. This is how the world works but if firms treat their people like crap with a poor hiring and staffing model they get whatever "blow back" they deserve. I am from industry and it is the same there. I am plenty mature, and there are lots of places I don't recommend either but individual decides. Don't assume this will never happen to you.
Curious as to which firms you are steering them towards, as most made significant cuts this year.
^ I think PwC was worst of all with KPMG not laying off at all.
Safe harbor does not exist but I recommend industry!
My group never has layoffs, I don't know what y'all are on about
@pwc7.. So shall I say lucky you?
