I am beyond jealous that you got monarch butterflies in your area this summer. We used to have monarchs flying all over the place when I was growing up but overtime they became fewer and fewer. And now, I honestly cannot tell you the last time I saw a monarch butterfly in the wild anymore.

I definitely did not see as many before I planted this. I am adding more wildflowers next year and I also have some milkweed for their caterpillars. It's a shame how much pesticides have ruined insect diversity.

Is it beneficial to have health insurance from both spouses, vs choosing the better one and opting out of the second? Why/why not? This seems like a silly question, but it’s our first time with both of us being staff in a decade. We have a kid, if that affects your answer.

I started trading during Covid crash. Started with equities and eventually moved to options. Earlier lost a month's salary and then lot more trying to recover it. Currently have lost my yearly salary worth and it's affecting all aspects of my life (job, marriage, health). I have tried to convince myself to consider it a loss but always get back trying to recover it.

I resigned from TCS in August and in another 18 days it's my LWD with TCS, now i got call from my lead saying they will provide canada onsite opportunity and he said he has multiple projects at onsite which he can give me, some are saying it's just a gimmick to retain you nothing else, my DM asked me to say yes or no by tomorrow so that he can start the process he said once i get approval mail then only i can take back my resignation. Really odd, the bottom leaf on my fiddle turned yellow REALLY fast, most of the rest of the leaves seem fine. It’s right in an east facing window with maybe 1-2 hours of direct sun per day the. Tons of ambient lighting the rest of the day. Pls help!

Does anyone know what’s going on with my philodendron? I’ve had this plant for years and just recently got it to start producing new leaves again and all the new ones have these lighter spots, but all the old growth is just a solid dark green like the leaf in the background. What house plants are NOT toxic to cats? I swear every time I go to buy a new plant and look it up it says “toxic to pets”. I have a dumb cane which I know is toxic but didn’t realize when I bought it so now I just keep it in the laundry room away from my cat when I’m at work but that means no daytime sunlight. Sort of houseplant related... but does anyone actually have experience with large fake plants, specifically the best places to get them? I have a large collection of live houseplants but I wanted a large (5’) fake plant for a place in my house that gets little to no sunlight.
