You lost the account, get over it and move on.
Get over yourself and move on.
That’s expected from a team that’s underpaid.
You have to underpay them when you're giving their work away.
I hope this post exhausted all your negativity so you can find a positive path forward!
You should sit in meetings with your team on the account. Talk about negative. It's been horrible. They are not prepared and we're expected to help them. It's been very painful, even clients say so.
We still have the creative and media elsewhere - we ‘only’ lost media in NA - so we have to work with Publicis and will see what they’re doing and how they’re working… it’s not spy world 😆
And in 6 months, you’ll lose that too. Exactly like Pfizer. It’s the playbook.
Interviewed for the director position to run TCCC paid social work and could tell it seemed chaotic and baptism by fire vibes. Glad my gut wasn't wrong in the bad vibes.
If you have onboarded a major media account, you know minimal disruption is the name of the game first 6 months. Then a new strategy is built when they get briefed for new campaigns (not for existing campaigns that need to be transferred over immediately). You wouldn’t expect a brand new strategy to appear in market in 3 weeks time? Transitions are rocky as you are asking a tremendous amount on client side, partner agency side, new agency, incumbent agency etc. I can’t speak for this transition, but on top of it all, you are generally operating with breadcrumbs of information, piecing together existing plans, and an incumbent that doesn’t care to set you up for success (which, understood as most have already been re-allocated etc).
Curious how you know? Have you been in mtgs with them? Or hearing from the clients?
Ya clients have been spilling the tea Publicis is sounding like they're not in a good spot not a lot of happy Coke clients right now... Their choice gotta live with it
Any more tea lol?
Wait if you’re at WPP how do you know lol
We are still the global creative and media agency. Only lost media in NA, so i work here lol that's how.
Hearing lots of chatter on this again in the recent weeks. Now it's coming from clients coming out of the wood work apparently a giant fucking shit show. What the actual hell is going on at Publicis???
