This really hit home! As a leader, it’s not about being in the office (that's why i think RTO policies are so silly), but it’s about creating an environment where people feel heard and motivated even if that's from far away. If your presence sparks excitement, you’ve built that trust. End of story.. But if they lean away, it’s a sign to check in and foster that connection more. Good food for thought!
RTO policies have definitely made their way back into the headlines, and while I'm all for finding a healthy balance between in-person and remote work, it's such a tricky and sensitive issue. For one, I don’t see the value in bringing people into the office just for them to end up interacting online anyway. I’m also not convinced that simply being in the office is a true measure of productivity. In the end, I think the goal should be to strike the right balance—enabling people to reap the benefits of in-person connections without needing to be there every single day. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Appreciate it.
