Recently got a role at GCP as TAM (comp is pending) but I also got into bschool ; I was hoping to use bschool to transition into product management but I’m not conflicted as I got into my dream company. I see 3 options: 1, join GCP as TAM and forget about bschool 2, join the role but quit in several months to join bschool or 3, join google and hope bschool gives me a deferral. What would you do? I think most advertising creatives always have a sense they should be doing something else. Either because of job instability vs the rewards (making fun work and getting paid big bucks to do so). When the scales tip in a way that makes me think, “But I I am not making fun work, nor am I getting paid big bucks consistently enough, nor do I have any semblance of stability”...for some reason I still don’t have the balls to commit (full-time) to building the skills that would get me hired into my dream job. I dabble, but still hold on to the idea, “I am just one gig away from making all this (aggravation, worry, uncertainty) worth it.” Now with the added C19 weekly deposit, I KNOW...this is the ideal time to shuffle the deck and potentially make choices to move forward in a new way (in something that doesn’t feel like work). No idea where I am going w this comment. Just to say, YES to this article.
I find interesting that a Chief Creative Officer is bringing up this subject. He's probably laid off and furloughed many folks and has used this as a mantra. Just be honest about it

MP1 - Take a look at what you wrote and tell me about sarcasm. If you have an issue with your leadership, step up and address it directly, not vicariously in this forum. You’re insulting someone you know nothing about.
