I don’t work at Mischief, though I know people who do and I like them.
And for me, every Mischief success is the success of fun, unexpected, generally earned media creativity. The kind of work we should all want our clients to want to do. Sure, not every project can be your favorite, but they go for it, and clients seek them out for the type of work they do. The industry is better with them in it.
So why hate?
Agree. I don’t even know anyone there but I’m happy they exist and they are actually showing clients that creativity is good for business. Why does this industry constantly eat its own?
I love the Mischief crew as people and I’m putting this mostly on the fact that they’ve had so much growth in such a short amount of time that they haven’t had the headspace to adjust their PR approach. But at this point, yes, it’s time to learn from the Mother & WK models of success management. The more you win the less you talk.

Posting about awards you won 12 months ago to drum up interest in awards you’re going to win on Monday is weird.
