Gave interview in TCS, it went pretty well. At the end, the tech interviewer asked my expected ctc. After mentioning as 27lpa, he asked if can be negotiated, told yes.
After that didn't get any feedback, its been around 5days.

Could anyone kindly tell me about the Investment Management and Private Equity Audit Group at Deloitte? 1. Work Life Balance (Is it worst than the ordinary Big 4 WLB?) 2. Is it an entirely different audit from commercial/retail audits (think account balances etc.) 3. Difficult to learn how to audit clients in this industry without prior experience in the industry?(been doing commercial audits for 3 years) 4. Started my career at EY, then went to a regional firm and now at Deloitte. You can’t go wrong with either firm. I’ve enjoyed both, but would say I have learned more technical knowledge while working at Deloitte. However, I would focus on the people you meet at each firm and see which teams you are more comfortable with.
I switched from BKD to PwC. Love PwC. Comp and benefits are far better at big 4
I switched from regional to EY last fall, so far so good 😊
Can y’all share some of your process? How you got connected, etc?

I heard all b4 is basically the same. I came from a local firm and I decided not to bother myself who to choose until I got an offer. Turned out only Uncle D from the B4 gave me interviews so here I am. I suggest you got the offer first and think anything else
Try to network with people in your local offices. They’re gonna give you the best insight into how the company operates in that particular office. For example, I like my firm’s national leadership but my office turned out a flaming dumpster that operates differently than a lot of offices. Had I known by talking to more people in the office I would have picked differently.
