I have a experience of 1.5 years as site engineer. I would like to go into designing and learn softwares according to it. I would like someone to tell me what is the experience needed, softwares to be learnt and where shall i learn them to be placed in US or UK companies?

I got a job as a infrastructure consultant right out of college 3 years ago and later became a solutions architect at the company I am at now. I have a degree in CS and never really got the chance to use my programming skills (Java, python, Springboot framework). I’m finding that I’m not really in to platform engineering or cloud infrastructure and would like to pivot to software/app development. And suggestions on where I could get started on making this transition?

If I get laid off, I have a previous colleague that started a cybersecurity company. I would love to get involved on the business side of it. Any pointers on skills that are attractive in this realm for a startup? Would be mostly (if not all) federal defense contracting clients. I’m currently in Deloitte’s cyber risk practice but my background and passion is in accounting and finance, and business operations. Graduated in 2017 so still early career.

Does anyone teach in class elementary, middle, or high school and also teaches college level? If so, how did you get the college level job? I have a masters and specialist degree and teach in class. I also want to teach college level online but have a hard time either finding a position available or applying. I'm doing some due diligence on a startup founder and I'd love another set of eyes. If you look up Jennifer Sethre of Intry on LinkedIn, she lists that she was President of Lighting Science Group Corporation from Nov 2013 to Aug 2014, but I found an SEC Form that says she was appointed President March 1, 2014 and resigned July 17. And if you look at the rest of her work experience, it is all top exec roles all the way back to her first job after university in '94, which is a VP role. Odd, no?
