Thought this was a bitcoin bowl? Smh.
I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

This is straight cash back, while the CSR is points. Each CSR point is worth at least 1.5c/point, so you’re at least getting 4.5% from using your CSR for dining
@BCG1 how do you get this cpp?
Amex gold gives you 4% points at restaurants. It’s easy to get $0.02+ in value from Amex points if you transfer to airline partners for travel (so basically an 8% return on restaurant spend). Much better than Uber imo
Deloitte is not that friendly! If we had the above option, we would all be flexible the rose gold version of Amex gold
Hope you didn’t apply for this. All cashback is now Uber Cash 😂
Read the email I think it's February 2020 so you have now til then to cash out
yup, love the card. use it at reaturants and connected to my Uber account
Well, the trick is, they make you spend or buy things to use points. I prefer cash back as I can use it to straight up pay for my credit card bills or take a statement credit. I do not like contributing to the economy with my money or points on someone else’s terms
Makes sense. Completely agree.
The card is being devalued and current holders aren’t going to be grandfathered. Stay away unless you like earning credits to use on Uber/Uber Eats instead of the current cashback. https://frequentmiler.boardingarea.com/uber-card-refreshed-big-devaluation/?utm_source=feedblitz&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Frequent%20Miler%20%28Instant%29
Agreed. Kinda perfect timing to know to not apply.
Yep I have it and love it. I use my Amex for travel, and the amount of miles/points I collect traveling with work is enough to pay for my 2-3 vacations a year. No brainer.
I have it and love it! It’s the best for earning for dining but not the best for redemption (statement credit, Uber credit or lame gift cards)That said it’s pretty straightforward and don’t have to deal with points optimization as someone noted above! Customer service is alright (comparing to discover who I think is amazing!!)
It’s being downgraded to shit now.
Lesson learned, no card can be viable with >2% cash back and no AF in the long term
I agree, I was a big advocate of this card but after the new rules came out, since I already have it and it’s a free card, I’ll just put it as default for uber and forge about it
Capital One Savor and Wells Fargo Propel both have 4% cash back on dining
Capital One Savor card gives 4% cash back on restaurants and is legit unlike some of the convo on here re: Uber card.

It’s great I love it. Also get $50 credit a year for subscriptions like prime every year
Why is my limit so lowwwww though?
I’ve had it for around 2 years and the limit has been about tripled from them randomly mailing me something several times to say it’s upped- I would imagine you would have luck with asking

Amex gold has 4% for dining and Amex Everyday preferred has 4.5% for dining if you use your card 30x per month.
