This chart got me thinking, PMs are always switching between leading and managing. On one hand, we set vision and inspire (leading), but then we also handle processes and make sure everything runs smoothly (managing). What do you all think? Do you end up doing more of one than the other?

Had a really bad day 😞 I don’t know why I keep doing this to myself. Things will be going well and then out of nowhere I get blackout drunk. I am tired of feeling sick and anxious from drinking. Currently in bizops and former consultant, and while the work is fine I’ve realized that bizops feels similar to consulting and in the long term I’m looking for a role that has more ownership and ideally more analytical.
