This may sound naive, but do you think you're actually helping to effect real change in your government job? Whether it's at the federal or state level, or working in public office, do you feel like what you do matters? I'm starting to doubt that what I do means anything...in the short term or the long term.

I’m highly interested in taking the PHR, and I’m wondering if I would qualify for the 4 year HR professional job requirement to be eligible to test for the certificate. I am currently into the SAP Security domain and I absolutely do not have any interest in it. I am planning to shift to development and have started on some courses on my own.

My question is, is there any future prospects in SAP UI5 and Fiori? Since my background is in SAP, I assume it will make a domain switch easier.

- 2 years at company 1 (resigned to move back to home country)
- 2 years at company 2 (resigned and moved back to the US)

2. How often have you seen term positions converted to permanent? I’m considering turning this offer down due to this.

Do Leidos, SAIC, and other mostly-fed consulting businesses pay bonuses to all levels? If so, what does a typical bonus target look like? Booz Allen does not pay bonuses until you get to the Senior Associate level (1 step below Director) and I think that impacts employee performance and work ethic pretty dramatically. I’m wondering if not paying bonuses is common to federal contracting because of how the contracts or priced, or if this is something unique to Booz Allen.
