After uploading documents in Bosch First Services one week ago, there was no update from them, when I replied to them via mail - They said we will get back to you.Is this sign of getting compensation breakup or they looking for other candidates.I have offer from CGI and only 3 days is remaining to accept. What should I do in this case?As CGI has said if you don't join after accepting offer we will blacklist you.

Yup, though not sure petty is the word you're looking for. But, "they" say comparison is the thief of joy. *cries in under-market TC*
Oof, I heard something similar from my friend who works in tech. It's known psychology that you feel worse if you make less than others, even if absolute amount is larger than what you were earning previously.
I said this exact thing to my friends when negotiating. I would have happily excepted the offer as it was, but I would have been pissed if I got in the door and found out that equally or less qualified peers were making more.
And an important aspect of negotiating is to make each party feel like they've "won".
Yep, and it wasn’t healthy. You will literally never be happy or “””successful””” if you compare yourself to others. Someone else will always be on top of you. Look inward for why you’re really feeling this way.
Yeah that's something you need to work on
Hah try joining a company that has recently IPOed.
Literally months of people buying mansions, hectic cars, retiring, OG people giving 0 fs.

I guess the comparison yard stick changes.
Someone will always have more, someone will always have less. Figure out what you actually want and focus on that
