I work for a small firm (about 20 attorneys) and make 90k. I’m coming up for a raise discussion in a couple of months but don’t know how to go about it/what is reasonable to ask for. I bill about 35 hrs/week at 400/hr, so I think I deserve a bump, especially considering the posture of the market. Any advice/feedback from similarly situated associates or partners at similarly sized firms?

Back in May 2021, I rented a property that had sustained damage during the big snow storm. This wasn't disclosed at lease signing. The home leaked every time it rained, mold was found in the home & the LL failed to make repairs that resulted in me falling down a flight of stairs. What can I do if I believe I’m being overcharged for utilities. I was charged prorated around 125 for 11 days for water and electricity (this is my share in a four bedroom apartment). I think this is crazy expensive for utilities for 11 days. I did just move to Austin, is it normal for utilities to be this high ?
