This seems like an Orwellian plot - Workday announced its “next chapter” in its AI-enabled future: an AI agent that scans employees’ emails, reads their emails, and automatically files expense reports on their behalf.

Why is all of that needed? I think the system should only ingest the credit card bills and find calendar invites or emails related to those activities. Where is all the data going, what is it being used for?

What do you think?

That sounds like an absolute disaster waiting to happen. Companies could always read someone's emails (assuming it's a company server), but having a glorified web scraper do it just seems like it will create a lot of confusion. And having an AI tool file expense reports only has about a thousand ways to go wrong. The only thing more aggravating than arguing about expense payments would be arguing with an AI tool. Brilliant.

One of my friends works as a Director in Nagarro. She has been there for 7 years and has a CTC of 42 with total yoe 17. Per current trend this is low even though she is a constant top performer. She says that even though delivery people play a pivotal role, they are not paid well. In her team, she sees technical people earning 45-50 at 10-11 yoe. So the factor is 2.5 for delivery vs 4.5 to 5 for technical roles. Per her, this is quite common in Nagarro & she is not an outlier. ctd in comments

I’ve been hooking up with relatively hot, wealthy older men and indulging in “party favor” and alcohol induced nights pretty frequently since around when quarantine began.

I’m now having trouble focusing (or even really caring) about tax return items and now work is starting to pick up.

How to re-focus back on work?
