I am currently interviewing at TikTok for the Content Partnerships Lead role. Can anyone share some insight into the salary bands in the Sub-Saharan African market? Should I benchmark with the global rates?
Any tips and experiences interviewing in this region are also welcome - and highly appreciated! :)

They are not winning everything. Unless Buffalo Wild Wings is everything. Then they are.
I feel super lucky to work here. Generally good clients, lovely people and you cannot beat the quality of life & cost of living of Richmond. - Ken
I work here and it’s amazing. Super nice people, great culture. I love it. Plus, Richmond is a fantastic city with tons to do and great food/beer. Come visit!
You will not work for better CEO than Kristen. Her story is amazing and she is absolutely the most talented strategist you will ever meet. She is the real deal. I worked with her for years.
.....
They’re taking a page out of the Mullen playbook. Kristen is hiring the MVPs from there and PR is a big piece of it. I give them credit; it will work for new business. Let’s see how they deliver on the work.
Spoiler alert: the entire PR stunt that they are calling the “culture lab” or something is a bunch of BS led by a total bitch who clearly has no idea how to run a department
The design group is excellent - a lot of powerhouses doing great work that no one will see because some (not all) clients don't take risks. I've been here three years and count my lucky stars I get to be here
Can you tell me more about the design group? I live in Richmond and have heard about the design group at Martin but don’t know much about it!
They seem to be great at smoke and mirrors and a lot of rah-rah events that is just trotting out Kristen and her story over and over. The work? Umm, dunno, never seen it or heard it mentioned.
@VP, what seems odd is that you are a VP in this industry and don’t know about one of the most awarded agencies in the US. Geico, Kennedy Museum, Wal-Mart. Oreo, timberland etc.
It’s awesome working here except pay is generally lower than usual and career growth is slow. Richmond is an amazing small city!
Still very much a work in progress but hopefully moving in the right direction. Cavallo is inspiring and Costello is great, but the rest of the leadership group leaves a lot to be desired. The work is OK - flashes of brilliance but otherwise forgettable.
