I have had several rounds of interviews for a role at Visa London office. When I reached out to the HR to check on progress/status after what they called the "final round", they said everything is positive and then set up another round with the hiring manager last week. TBH, that round seemed as if they want to make sure I have understood the job well. And there has been radio silence after that. Any idea how to read this? I have another offer and deliberating if i should just accept that.

My Joining date was on 5th Dec, but didn't the onboarding mail, On 2nd Dec I was my BGC scheduled and they asked for my degree certificate, On 5th Dec 2022 I got the link from verification team where I uploaded my address proof.
But will they still onboard me, as my joining date is already passed, My recruiter is not responding my mails. Pls let me know

What about all the dead senior citizens in nursing homes that he lied about? Yep, sounds like a good guy and strong leader. 🙄

The nursing home death stories are important but overblown (ppl were already dying in those nursing homes before they were sent back from hospital despite being positive so hard to show whether his policy caused more death). I also think, like most normal NYers, he’s done an excellent job with covid (not just in comparison to Trump). Hasn’t been perfect but pretty good IMO.
His style of politics behind closed doors is repugnant. Terrible that he also made advances at work.
We don’t need him and every politician is replaceable.

I think he doesn't get enough credit. He cleared space in nursing homes, brought down Manhattan rent, rationalized a lot of redundant nyc businesses, de-congested the subway, and convinced us to stay home so we don't see how dirty the city has become. And I'm probably forgetting many more.
I'm sure he's exhausted, let him have some tail. After all, he spent years protecting us from Trump.

Harassment accusations aside, he is the worst thing that’s ever happened to New York. Because of this man we now have criminals released from jail and people who should be locked up running free

As long as we allow and encourage poverty to exist, there will always be crime. Virtue signaling without actually addressing the root causes of this crime is a waste of time.

Lifelong Democrat here, and always thought cuomo was a POS even before the pandemic. Only reason I’d ever vote for him again is if he’s running against someone worse.
Honestly Cuomo is an authoritative POS who doesn’t get crap done and the only time it ever benefitted NYC was during the pandemic. If there were better democrats running against him I’d vote for them.
Let’s let due process play out; he overplayed his hand trying to pick the investigator and now is facing a proper independent investigation.
Calls for him to resign are premature, but if the allegations pass muster then it becomes valid. Until then, the presumption of innocence should prevail.
It’s just such a dichotomy from how other politicians, ie Trump, did not yield to somewhat more concrete and numerous allegations.
I think 2 things can be true — Cuomo displayed solid leadership in the midst of the COVID crisis (which we most certainly were NOT getting at the federal level), but has done some morally questionable and potentially criminal acts around the whole sexual harassment issue w/ his former aide, and the nursing home reporting scandal most certainly doesn’t help his public perception.
To be completely honest — if you’re a public figure, you need ask yourself this question: “is what I’m doing or about to do going to be something that’s going to bite me in the ass in the future? (Whether it’s 2 weeks/2 months/2 decades from now...)

I think part of the problem is that we just finished a 4 year run with absolutely no consequences or contrition for similar allegations. That’s what makes this difficult.

Ok but real talk thou - how is this man supposed to flirt with anyone if he is not allowed to ask anyone if he wants to kiss him and if he can’t touch anyone. Tbh he sounds like he’s stressed out, looking for company and can’t even make any advances on anyone because of the power dynamic.
