Education: Large state school Accounting degree, 3.9 GPA. Also a CPA.

Exam: GRE 168Q 162V

Extracurriculars: Big Brother Big Sister, Alma Mater Mentor, Mentor for foundation for underprivileged HS students

Intended schools: Johnson, Ross, Darden, CBS, Kellogg, Booth, Haas, Duke

Is my list a stretch? Should I switch firms before applying, does KPMG kill my chances?

Is there a market for lawyers to add expertise In crisis management or reputation management? My goal is to counsel clients on how to respond to media inquiries without saying or posting something detrimental to a potential litigation while still maintaining communication with their client base. If so, how to break into that industry? Courses? Books? Certifications?

I currently make 78k at Lockheed but I’m not doing what I’d like to be doing and i felt stuck and after many conversations with my manager and no solution in sight, I started applying elsewhere. Does LTI change joining date , my issue is my notice period is 30 days remaining but due to some dependency it may be extended 10 to 15 days. What can I do in this situation ?

Help me save the day: have a massive excel file (600k rows) with duplicate records (column a, b and c are duplicate, not a duplicate if a and b are the same though). How can I filter for just these records? If it didn’t crash excel I could concat into one column, Conditional format for duplicates, and sort by color. What’s a work around?

Should you mark that an Employer should not be contacted if asked on application? EEOC Discrimination COMPLAINT FILED during Pandemic. Contract was not renewed!

Does an MBA (US) make sense for me? Male, Indian, Age 32, Married working in tech consulting with 10 YOE. Base is $165 with steady increases and bonus is typically 15%. I eventually do want to cross the $300K threshold but I know stopping work for 2 years and getting and MBA probably won’t get me a $300K job right away. Becoming a manger in my current company/path will probably get me there in terms of TC. Also considering EMBA from a good school (Wharton Global, Duke, Kellogg, Booth).

I keep hearing that Booth’s MBA program is rigorous (maybe the most rigorous out of M7). That said, how much more work are students expected to do compared to HBS, Wharton, Kellogg, etc.? I don’t know if this is an outdated opinion, considering a lot of MBAs are very demanding. Booth is personally my top choice for having a flexible curriculum & 2-3 days of classes. But I really want to know what to expect around the “rigorous” label. Does it mean I’ll be buried in coursework the other 2-3 days?

Applied for the MIT Sloan MBA/Harvard MPP dual and got into Sloan. Would this significantly increase my chances of getting into the MPP?

The number of the alumni and current students that go to top consulting firms FT& summer intern are countless even for a small class size.
Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)

Went to a severe non-target for undergrad. Most of my colleagues have 3 degrees from elite institutions. Is it worth it to get an MBA from H/S/W for some added credibility? McK will likely pay but $350K in forgone salary seems enormous. 740 GMAT
