Sapient, yes we feel picked on. Check out the threads here and see how many times "white" and "men/males" come up. Replace those words with "Jews" "blacks" " hispanics" or "women" and you'll see pretty quickly that it is unacceptable for everyone else except white men. I get it. I agree with a lot of it. But yes, we feel picked on (and we know we are a dying breed with huge targets on our backs and we cannot fight back).
ACD, I make more money than you because I'm your boss. I'm your boss because my ideas have so far been better and people respect me more than you. My boss (woman, Latina) makes more than me and has had more better ideas than me and is a lioness in this industry. See how this works?

I don't think clients know our titles, for the most part. Inflated titles are a systemic thing, not a white male thing. Most clients are women, so, I dunno.
@Strategist 1 is a white male whose entire title is Lead Key Strategic VP Of Primary Communication Directives, LLC.

For you to reply to my quip with an assertion that I'm "wrong on so many levels", yet still defend the "poor privileged white guy" in the SAME thread about being a guy and having an inflated title is ... let me use your words here ... wrong on so many levels. I get that it's talked about a lot. I get that some lily white dick owners are feeling real butt hurt about that. But we're not bringing this up for fun. It is talked about a lot because otherwise NOTHING will change. And the way it has been going for decades is due for a refresh. Tell me again that I need to pick on someone my own size. Or fuck off. IMO, singling out ANY specific demographic / race / ethnicity and saying nasty things is simply unacceptable and solves nothing. @ACD1 ...with all due respect you have a pattern of unhinged rage coming through your posts
As I've said before, I'm not a white male, and don't think that making white males the "enemy" is a solve for anything.
your boss has likely struggled to get to where she is and will continue to struggle to prove herself. it's not unlikely (or uncommon) that you are at your position because you're a white male with much less talent than a subordinate who happens to be a POC. when cys white males come to accept this privilege, maybe we'll stop "picking on you." @CD
Btw @ACD1 - if you have so much unfettered internal rage towards white male colleagues it is 100% going to manifest itself in your interactions with them, and result in an unproductive dynamic. Own your part. You are in fact being racist. Solutions don't come from a place of hate.
