Thoughts on practicing law in the bathtub? Presently I’m soaking in my tub and reviewing contracts while sipping on a glass of bourbon. Sure, I could move to my home office, couch, or even bed but there’s something great about being paid to take a bath.

I honestly cannot believe you have a whole bathtub workstation set up that took the risk of electruction into account in its design. All I can do now is bow to you. 😅

My husband does this all the time, but with a glass of wine. I can never understand the appeal of a bath but it works for him!

Oh hell yeah. I recently bought a house with a hot tub and you better believe I’ve worked from there. Work can go anywhere the laptop can!

I wish I could do this! I tried with a PSA and later a lease once and dropped the lot in the hot tub and luckily have AppleCare … don’t ask. I don’t drink Bourbon these days (again don’t ask), but what sounds like a great idea in theory didn’t work for me. Ha!

Maybe you should make some toast? 😎

I write every brief with the assumption that the judge reads it with wine in the bathtub; so I kind of like the symmetry of writing it from the bathtub as well.

My firm requires 200 hours bills per month, now they have been cracking down on us to bill 50 per week. I’m so exhausted. I absolutely hate this place. Insurance defense wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t for these insane requirements. We also have to do update charts by weekly for every single one of our cases. All for a measly $85k while the firm makes thousands and thousands per week from each attorney. You only get a bonus for meeting the billable requirement, only to end up with about $2200.
