Do it. Always.
Not if you just started and are happy, if less than a year in and no negative feelings, it's nice and productive to focus on current position and growth and enjoy a bit of stress free from constant job search and distraction of "grass greener on the other side" situations. If truly intriguing and you are open to leaving current place, sure.
Agree - do it! Just be careful not to burn bridges somewhere you really want to go one day when you say no.
You may not plan on moving. But who knows, maybe after talking to them you'll realize it's a great fit, and that's where you'll be happiest. It never hurts to see what's out there.
Always take the interview. Networking, learning about the competition, determining what you want or dont is vital to keeping your expertise fresh.
How do you passively secure an interview jw
Definitely do it but be transparent about it with the people setting up the interview -"I'm really happy where I am but I'm always interested in making new connections and learning more about the industry."
