What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

...Posted by an ECD I would prefer not to work for.
Because they’re cheap, motivated and willing to do the stuff no one else wants to do. And if you do your job right, after 6-12 months they should be able to hang with any senior or mid teams in the agency
So your senior teams don’t hate you for making them to banners and social posts
Because if you don’t, how people get in to advertising and learn the craft. Because you have the responsibility to teach the next generation. It is not always about you and what’s benefit you the most.
If you can’t teach, guide and inspire people to do better, you shouldn’t be in management position.
So you’re an ECD who’s ok with doing junior level work?
LOL I feel bad if you aren’t willing to roll up your sleeves and get things done. And from my experience being disconnected from the actual work (and production realities/ pain points) doesn’t help anyone.
Were you ever junior or below senior? How did you ever get to ECD?
Yes. Objective question, should have expected the emotional response. But to your question, yes. I freelanced plus worked my full time gig, moved when I didn’t feel challenged and kept up with the tools and making sure I kept doing work and not stroking my ego, I mean chin. Along the way learned more strategic tools, resources etc and read... a lot. Business books, design, art, architecture, culture etc.
Came to comment, but everyone above did it better. Hope you listen, ECD. Good luck in your hiring efforts.
Because you aren’t a genius, and good ideas can come from anywhere.
@OP your post shows a lot about your management skills (or lack of). Our interns have been trained to be the best they can be by the time they finished their contracts.
Those little bastards keep selling work.
Wow.
OP are you in the US?
