Did you mean garbage disposal?
Put a clause on the contract: if they clog it, they will be financially responsible
In the US? If so, it’s generally accepted that a rental will have a garbage disposal. They’re cheap and very easy to fix or replace if needed. I’ve had 8+ active rental properties for 20 plus yrs and have only had 1 garbage disposal go out. It was because the tenant did not know that they were not supposed to pour grease down the sink. Ugh. Most adults know what foods/items can and cannot go down a GD. Worst case is that someone chews up a spoon. But that’s their loss of the spoon. It usually doesn’t break the GD.
Include the garbage disposal. It’s not that serious. I had to replace mine a year or two ago and the new one cost $90.
