Thoughts on buying shares (via ESPP) of your company even though the stock has been declining?

Just joined industry. I love the company, so I'm thrilled to be here. ESPP was incredible at a company like Accenture, but with the stock price of my current company, I'm just wondering if I should take advantage. The dividend is nice. So if anything, I could treat is as income producing source, if not so much an investment that grows significantly.

When contributing to a 529 plan in PA, in addition to being able to deduct PA state taxes on the contributions, can we also deduct the Philly city tax?

Should I be putting my $ somewhere else other than my bank account to save for a house?

I don’t play with options much, but I happened to buy VERU calls for 2/19 a little while ago and now it’s skyrocketing, it’s up over $1k for me- will it keep going up? Should I just take the profits now and be happy?

From a financial standpoint in this market, which would be a better approach in Austin -

1. Buy a ~8-850k house that meets most of our ideal criteria (size, schools, interiors etc) to stay long term

2. Buy a ~5-550k house that’s not ideal with the plan of moving into an ideal home in 4-5 years when kid is ready for school.

How easy is it to get a mortgage for the second home?

I asked for $135K for a managerial position in govt sector at KPMG and I think I lowballed myself by putting that number on the application. If I receive am offer can I ask for more ? They never gave me a range but I feel like govt sector at all these firms is lower pay but that's my wheelhouse. It's 35% more than I make now so it sounds like a good number but based on research on here I could probably ask for 150k? Help!

I have received offer letter from Optum Global Solutions India recently and I am seriously considering joining it(I also have offers from Deloitte USI and Verizon).
My breakup annexure mentions 4 components apart from RRP and PF. Basic, HRA, Flexi, Special Allowance. Either the Special Allowance or the Flexi is not included in the CTC mentioned in offer letter. So I want to understand how the Flexi and Special Allowance are paid monthly. Can someone please help?

Left b4 consulting for f500 industry (pharma). Much of what was promised was blatantly false or hasn’t panned out. However, the pay (around 300k) and WLB are real. And work is somewhat interesting - just isn’t what i signed up for, moves at a glacial pace and i have doubts about the potential of much of what my team is doing.
