Depends how you build your character/competency/inter personal skills.
Like others have said if all depends on your skills and growth. But, india is a shitty place as compared to other countries. Here you have to take senior managerial positions with more Yoe, or if you want to be in tech, then be ready to study all the time and stay on top of the game(architect etc)
I have colleagues in Denmark who are senior software engineer at 20 years experience.
My product Owner turned 60 last week and my lead has 35+ experience and still a lead.
To add to it they will get pension from govt and the employer as well on retirement. So more or less it's like a Indian government job.
