I have like three decades of experience, so I cut it off at the 15-year mark. Anything older than that isn't relevant and only works against me, in my opinion. Plus, it helps me keep it to a one-pager, which I know some HR people really care about.
I don't mind having 2 pages, I've been told that if it's well organized and still concise in your actual bullet points that it's okay to go 2 pages. I still highlight the most important things on the first page so nobody misses anything if they don't look past page 1. Idk, I'd be curious to hear if others thing 2 pages is a horrible move.
Thanks all!
I am at two pages. I’ve lumped jobs together under one heading where it makes sense to save space and condense.
I still follow the one page rule and I think it's still pretty popular. Especially now where people want everything at their fingertips. The one page keeps them locked in without getting bored or too much information. Good luck with the job search.
