Hand wash that bih yourself.
Look up the 2 bucket method.
And don’t cheap out on the soap and use dishwashing detergent as it’s horrible for your clear code and paints. It’s too harsh. Buy a good car wash liquid like Maguires or otherwise Costco has the best deal on cheap good microfiber towels they’re yellow.
I just use the no touch automated car wash. It's not like you're taking care of a one of a kind antique.
Touchless car washes can’t scrub your car so they use an aggressive, alkaline and acid base cleaner to dissolve the dirt which strips away wax, sealants, and ceramic coatings dries out your rubber seals and plastic trim, and can even dull a clear coat overtime. They don’t actually get the car clean because they leave behind road film break dust water spots so it still has a layer of grime on it which if you go dry it afterwards you’re scratching the paint
The high pressure water can force dirt into the seals leave streaks the dry on the paint and strip away protectants. Save your money by the buckets if you want some fun, you could get a foam cannon attachment for your regular hose.
For drying, get good microfiber towels or waffle weave and drag the towel over the area to dry. Avoid having to run too much. Goal is to reduce dust that could scratch your clear coat layer.
Yes don’t recommend for ppl with Parkinson’s, everyone else should be fine. Good add 😬
Nah but just get one that’s 650 CFM or more and you can be like 2ft back and fine
The hand wash two buckets microfiber that’s the basics, hybrid or straight ceramic spray or a good wax would be next if it’s high-end car you might consider while everything’s fresh putting a clear protector like xpel on it but you’re looking at $800-$1200 and it lasts about seven years
Do the ceramic coat for 800-1200, literally the best money I’ve ever spent. Dirt etc slide off the car with ease, washing is a cinch, best way to keep car looking perfect
