I got selected to HCL Technologies , had submitted my documents and all the required information also updated my joining form in discover HCl website. It also shows that my bgv is completed but I have'nt recieved myoffer letter it has been more than a week. I also have a service agreement to fill it requires my date of joining which I think will be in my offer letter. Can any one help me and say how will this move from now.

Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @

Exact same this happened at Capgemini and they said it was to match client's return dates, which was not true at all. Although those that could prove they would be billable for that extra week were allowed to apply to work that week.
KPMG? I know a few firms doing this. Could be lesser of two evils - Better to be off bench into annual leave than off bench into a slowing job market.
It’s good for the business, therefore at a time like this it’s good for staff; unless you enjoy being made redundant! Good luck out there lol
Another reason why orgs are doing this is because AL is often considered a separate expense for the org. As staff accrue their AL, money is automatically put aside for it. They are literally saving money by making people use their AL for longer because they've already paid for it, rather than paying for salaries from a different account when pay goes out. I've heard that some firms have literally saved 10s of millions this holiday season by doing this.
