Today I received letter if intent from American express with compensation details. I thought amex had a standard practice of giving joining bonus but in my compensation breakdown it’s not mentioned. Would it be mentioned separately in offer letter or what?

My question is how many days does it takes to release offer letter ?
Is the salary offered good or should I try for more negotiation ?

MasterCard is offering me 13.5LPA as fixed pay and 7% as variable pay.

We all are educated people, working in MNCs, very good at what we do then why not earn more? You could open small business such as fast food corner or even small restaurant. This does not stop us doing our day job, after setting up your business you can just recruit right people seeing it and only small input would be needed from you. Opinion?
